Morning Brightening drink





















Coffee is usual the morning wake up drink for many. However, once a while I like to make my own drink to start my day. I have been making this ginger, cinnamon, dried dates (dried apricot in picture) tea for years now and I love it. Is very simple, simmer the ingredients for 30 min. plus, depends on how strong the taste you like, add honey and you got a wonderful drink. Today instead of dried dates, I added dried apricots, since I don't have any dates at the moment. You can also substitute dried candied orange peels, which will give the drink a lot of flavor. Try it.
