Easter is commonly known as a Christian celebration of Christ’s rising, but where did the cute bunnies, baby chicks and colored eggs come from? Easter season is also spring season, when the earth wakes again after a long and cold winter. It is a season of new birth, nature give birth to baby animals and plants. The Easter bunny arose originally to symbolize fertility, due to its rapid reproduction habits. The custom of coloring eggs at Easter started over 500 years ago and it’s still a popular custom till these days. Easter is arriving in no time, will you be coloring some Easter eggs? It’d be a fun project to make with your family and kids or an impressive D.I.Y. gift for friends or a special gift for that someone special.
