That's me. Yup, I started having rosacea after I turned 30. Some says it's caused by aging and lack of collagen in the skin. It started after I have had a bad allergic reaction to a cosmetic product. Long story short, it was the worst condition to my skin. I went through everything including redness, bumps and it even burns after a swim or shower. Nothing, I mean nothing worked until I found my cure. I have had Rosacea for about 3 years. Nothing the dermatologist recommended works. I have had pills, creams and they only works the first week I put it on. It comes back when I stop using it. I always have dry skin, but never this worse. BUT now most people would say I have beautiful skin. Here's what I have found:
btw, if you don't know what Rosacea is. Good, you probably don't have it. Here's a link to what it means by having Rosacea.

Okay, that's what they say on medicinenet.com and many other medical sites. Yup, alittle scary and depressing to read. How about we move on and take a look at how I got rid of mine on my own.
These are products that cured my Rosacea. I promise I'm not payed to say they work. I tried it first hand and loves loves loves it. I'm glad I don't have Rosacea anymore. I'm sure different type of skin works differently, so do consult your doctor before choosing it. My skin type is dry sensitive.
My List:
1) https://zenmed.com/skincare/rosacea/ (This really works for me and the price is reasonable, I love how it smells like tea tree)
2) Lush EAU ROMA WATER (it calms my skin, good toner before putting on face cream)3) La Mer
I know, this one is SO expensive. I only get it once per 3 years. It works well for my sensitive skin but doesn't erase my wrinkles. I only uses it when my skin is red or irritated. You could ask for a sample at counter first before investing so much money in this.
4) Pacific Amore, Love Love Love this product. I see a huge difference in my skin. It's expensive, so I only get it when it has a gift time and I get the value set from nordstrom. It's under 200 dollars for the set.

5) Diet, Diet works. Keep a diary and know what's causing it is important. Mine was anything from onion (raw ones) tomato, shrimp (not fresh ones) or anything spicy. But I'm able to eat most of it now after using the face products I've mentioned above. I hope I could say BYE BYE ROSACEA forever.
6) Make sure you choose a gentle sun block. Many sun blocks dry your skin and it could cause rosacea to come back. Make sure you use one for dry sensitive skin.
I also use a day cream with SPF, right now I'm happy with burt bees day lotion. I like their old recipe but it is what it is, the new ones doesn't erases wrinkle like the old one but it is gentle and smells good too. Works well on my super dry sensitive skin. (NOTE: I'm only able to use Burt's bees when my skin is not sensitive, I wasn't able to use it at the stage of healing, choose a gentle SPF sun block for sensitive skin instead)
I tried the carrot day cream, it is oily and it made my skin condition very sensitive, when you have Rosacea, it is better to keep the skin hydrated but don't put anything too oily on it. Gel lotions works really well for me.
7) Sea buckthorn hydrating serum
Keep the skin hydrated is very important. I use this serum, it could be found online or at wholefood
8) La Roche Posay Anthelios SX Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15
I found this one okay, it's not irritating to the skin. I've only tried it once, so don't know the long term effect. It could be found at CVS I think or skinstore.com

9) This is the daily sun block that I use:
EltaMD UV Physical SPF 41 $29 / 3 oz

10) Also, make sure you're able to go to the bathroom everyday, I found out that when my belly is bloated, it makes my Rosacea worse. What I do is that I eat whole pressed oat (express ones that takes 3 mins to cook). I get mine from wholefood store. I've tried instant ones and other some brands, this one works the best for me. I don't eat it everyday, just ones in a while. If I can't make it, I make sure to eat some salad or a fruit. TO keep beautiful skin, you must watch out of diet. Alittle change per day will make a difference, trust me!
11) Try to use a gentle cleanser,it is so important to not dry your skin. I use:

Creme Mousse Comfort and I love it. I've also tried La Mer face wash, it's nice but it doesn't work as well as this one to me. You only need a tiny tiny bit and it foam so well, one tube last me forever.
11) I've recently found a really great product that calms my skin and keeps it so soft. It is Lush Full of Grace Moisturizing bar. It is solid but melts into a serum with body heat. It gives the skin moisture and glow. I like putting it at night before I sleep cos it looks kinda oily and I don't think it is for day time use. It definitely helps to calms my skin. Love it!
